For over 10 years I’ve been experimenting with different approaches in sound design, composition, and live performance. My solo project “DBR” is where I present some of the results to a global audience. In 2022 I was invited to perform live in five EU countries at various clubs and festivals. Presenting my work to new audiences overseas was an incredible opportunity for me!
‘Traces’ @ Soft Centre, Sydney 2022
Premiered at Soft Centre Festival as part of Vivid 2022, ‘Traces’ is a commissioned, live audiovisual performance showcasing the multidisciplinary offerings of myself (as DBR), Cypha, Brigitte Podrasky and Joan Shin. A one-off collaborative project developed across three cities, Traces takes inspiration from memory and disorderly exchanges.
